This Privacy Policy describes how Khata Pro (the “App”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information. The App is developed and maintained by Aman Kumar Singh. If you have questions, contact: aman.rajkumar.singh@gmail.com.
Short version: Khata Pro does not collect or send your invoice, product, or shop data to any server. All app data is stored locally on your device unless and until you explicitly export or share it using other apps (for example, email, WhatsApp, or file sharing apps). Khata Pro itself does not upload or transmit your data anywhere.
The following information may be stored on your device using the app (for example, in local storage or app files):
You can export your data from the app to a file and import it back. When you export, you explicitly create the file and can move it off your device (for example, to cloud storage or email). The app itself does not automatically upload exported files anywhere. You can also save an invoice as a PDF or directly share it via other apps, but Khata Pro does not save or upload any such data to any server.
The App is designed to work fully offline. It does not upload, store, or access any of your data on remote servers. All your information remains stored on your device. The app also does not track, analyze, or see any of your stored data.
Khata Pro may include ads provided by third-party ad networks (for example: Google Mobile Ads). These third parties may collect certain data (such as device identifiers, advertising identifiers, and usage information) to provide and personalize ads. Their data collection and use are governed by the third parties' privacy policies, not by Khata Pro. For details about how ad networks handle data, please refer to the ad provider's privacy policy (for example, Google’s Ads & Privacy policies).
If analytics libraries are enabled (to help improve the app), those libraries may collect non-identifying usage information such as feature usage and crash reports. This information helps improve stability and features but does not include your invoice or product content.
We take reasonable measures to protect data stored on the device, but no method of storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for device-level security (PIN, fingerprint, backups) to protect your local data.
Khata Pro will not share your local invoice or product data with third parties unless you explicitly export and share that data (for example, exporting a backup file or emailing an invoice). The app may share basic device or app crash information with third-party analytics or crash-reporting services if those services are enabled.
Khata Pro is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe your child has provided personal information in the App, please contact us and we will work to remove it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes materially affect how personal information is handled, we will provide a clear notice in the app or via the contact email above. Continued use of the App after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
